SCHOOL BUS DRIVER
This course is designed for new certification and renewal of current certification. Students will receive classroom instruction in the following areas: Commercial Driver’s Handbook, driver’s license and special certificate requirements, bus operation, bus laws and regulations, vehicle components, general defensive driving techniques, passenger loading and unloading, emergency procedures, passenger management, activity trips, special needs passengers, and public and community relations. Additional behind the wheel training is required for certification, not included in this course. Handbook included in registration fee. Please call for class availability. Cost: $35 Reg, $35 Lab for new students, $25 for renewals.
