ACCESS 2007
In Access Level 1, students will learn to use the latest database software to input, manipulate and track important data as well as create forms and reports. Create mailing lists, customer files, employee files and even birthday lists. Level 2 will cover advanced techniques for students who have previously received a certificate in Level 1. A+ COMPUTER REPAIR - Part 1 and 2 (two 9 week courses)
A+ Part I: This class is 50% theory and 50% lab. Students will have an option to build their own computer (approximate cost: $500 - $700). Students will learn Windows 7, Mac OSX, and Linux. Satisfactory completion of this course may lead to A+ Certification Career. Prerequisites: Windows OS, Introduction to Computers, Basic Computer Repair or equivalent knowledge. A+ INTERNSHIP/TECHNICIAN

APPLE MAC OS X
Ready to make the leap to the Mac? There has never been a better time to switch from Windows to Mac and this unique course will help you make a smooth transition. This course gets you past three challenges: Transferring your files, assembling Mac programs so you can do what you did with Windows, and learning your way around Mac OS X. In addition, for the already Mac experienced users, there will be technically advanced skills taught. Beginning course in practical accounting for small business. CLOUD COMPUTING
Learn what Cloud Computing is, how it works, who should use it, and why it’s the wave of the future. Internet will be integrated and demonstrations of how to download and install and remove programs will also be shown including antivirus programs, iTunes, additional browsers and more. DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY/PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 8
This digital imaging class is designed to help you learn how to purchase and operate a digital camera, take better pictures, transfer the pictures to your computer, burn a CD, and edit the pictures using Photoshop Elements 8.0. Discover the various ways to display your photos. Camera required. Cost: $25 Reg, $5 Lab. (Additional fee for book)

eBay BASICS This seminar class will teach you the basics to buy and sell on eBay. You will learn how to bid to win and create listings with pictures to sell successfully. eBay accounts will be set up in class. PayPal, half.com, and Craigslist will also be discussed. Tips and tricks will get you excited and eager to join the eBay community. Cost: $40. (Fee Based Class.) This is a 4 week class.

eBay ADVANCED This seminar class is for the experienced eBay user or those that have completed the eBay Basics class. Learn more than basic eBay use. Tips and tricks that the average eBay user aren’t aware of will be taught. Learn ways to bid, when to bid, and tools available to bidders. There are also many tools available to sellers. Learn when to list, ways to make your listing stand out, submit better pictures and write descriptions that make bidders choose your item over others. Cost: $40. (Fee Based Class.) This is a 4 week class.

ETHICAL HACKING
With the threats of cyber terrorism and corporate espionage increasing, the need for trained network security professionals continues to grow. This course teaches penetration-testing tools and techniques that ethical hackers and security testers use to protect computer networks. Make your own website, compose your own musical score, organize and enhance your own photos and make your own videos to upload to YouTube. This hands-on course introduces students to the features and interface of iLife ’09. iLife ’09 is a suite of digital authoring tools that comes with every Mac: iPhoto, iMovie, GarageBand, iDVD, and iWeb. MULTI-MEDIA
Use the full audio/video capabilities of your computer. Convert your company’s and your own audio and video to digital, which can then be output to audio discs, video discs, and DVD’s for long term storage and safekeeping. Movie Make, and Adobe Premier Elements will be used to convert and edit 8mm and VHS to digital and add music to text. Cost: $25 Reg, $5 Lab. (Additional fee for book)

NOTARY PUBLIC
The California School of Notary Public is offering 8 hours of training to provide the new or previously commissioned Notary Public with the education to pass the state proctored examination. A passport-size photo (2” x 2”) is required to be commissioned. Bring one to the test or one may obtained during the class for $15. ($45 guide/materials fee due first night of class in addition to registration.) Cost: $70 Reg. NO checks, NO refunds.

NOTARY LOAN SIGNING AGENT
A Signing Agent must be a Notary. This is specialized notary work for mortgage or finance companies as a Loan Signing Agent. An open-book test follows the eight hours of training. Hands-on training in the use of QuickBooks accounting software. Topics covered are setup, reports and transaction processing for accounts receivable, accounts payable, merchandise, and payroll. SERVER 2008 Part I
This is the perfect course for learning Windows Server 2008 from the ground up! Designed to build a foundation in basic server administration, this course requires no previous server experience. It covers all critical Windows Server 2008 features, including the features unique to the new server operating system, from Windows Server 2008 features and versions to installing, configuring and using Hyper-V virtual server capabilities.
