PUBLIC SCHOOL SAFETY AND SECURITY TRAINING (SB 1626S)
This fulfills the state mandated 24 hours of security training needed for personnel working in the public school setting. Good reading and writing skills are recommended for optimum success. Emphasis will be placed on security awareness as well as understanding the dynamics of student behavior and conflict resolution. Topics Include: Role and Responsibility of Campus Security, Laws and Liabily, Security Awareness in the Educational Environment, Mediation/Conflict Resolution, Disasters and Emergencies and Dynamics of Student Behavior. Cost: $235 (includes certificate of successful completion).

SECURITY OFFICER TRAINING
Students are prepared for basic training in the field of law enforcement as well as being trained for employment as security guards in on-site locations. When you are finished with this 44-hour course, you will receive your state Guard Card which allows you to work unarmed security anywhere in the State of California including special HAZ MAT training. Good reading and writing skills are recommended for optimum success. Cost: $600 (includes state certification/Guard Card fee and Live Scan/Background Check).
